The Hero Experience
Our after-school crews included in The Hero Experience give youth space to express themselves, learn, and grow holistically and in community with each other. These activities vary by the season and allow youth to develop new skills and prepare projects that show the skills they’ve learned and the memories they’ve made.
Our Spring 2025 Hero Experience includes:
Mondays: Creative Crew, Gym Day, Breakdancing, and The Fam
Wednesdays: Intro to Boxing, Music Studio, Games & Adventures, and Cooking Club
Tuesdays & Thursdays: Tutoring, Music Studio, Fitness Crew, and Money Makers
Program Highlights
Tutoring Makes A Difference
Escape Tutoring helps students in 6th-12th grade complete homework, practice effective study habits, and build meaningful relationships.
Escape Tutoring happens on Tuesdays & Thursdays after school, and we pick up from Holland Middle and High Schools. We need great volunteers to help coach students through their schoolwork, drive the vans, and hang out with kids in their free time!
Prior to joining Tutoring, a student’s parent/guardian must fill out the “Student Forms” and meet with Escape Staff.
THE FAM - Growing Together
THE FAM is a youth group for middle and high school-age youth who want to grow personally, relationally, and/or spiritually.
THE FAM meets on Mondays from 5pm-7:30pm at Escape. The typical evening includes, dinner, games, hanging out, large group lessons and connecting in small groups.
THE FAM is open to new members, focus on engaging activities, forming mentoring relationships and relating kids’ daily experiences to God’s kingdom!
We always appreciate volunteer meal providers and group mentors to help make THE FAM better!
