Hannah joined Escape in 2025 after working with refugee children and children with special needs. She has a Bachelor of Science in Ministry and a minor in Biblical Studies. Encouraging students in their relationship with Christ and helping them succeed in their education, careers, and lives is Hannah’s passion. When not at Escape, she enjoys hiking, swimming, reading, and spending time with her friends and her family.

Kevin joined Escape at the beginning of 2025 after 35 years of experience serving in leadership roles, most recently at Samaritas. He graduated from Calvin University and then earned his Master of Social Work at Western Michigan University.  Along with his integrity, intentionality, and compassion, Kevin’s experiences in serving at-risk youth, advocating for and meeting unmet needs in families, and mentoring young professionals make Kevin an exceptional fit for leading Escape. He is passionate about empowering people and helping them find belonging. When not at Escape, Kevin enjoys bike-riding, reading, traveling, and relaxing at the lake with his wife and their children’s families.

Janette joined Escape in 2022 and worked as a Learning Coach before taking her role as the Operations & Development Director. She is a graduate of Hope College and has previous experience working in schools as a Credit Recovery Teacher. She loves to laugh, is passionate about leading her church with her husband in Fennville, and is a great cook!

AJ joined Escape in 2014 with the Career Connections program, and has loved seeing Escape grow since then. He loves getting kids out in the world, tutoring in math, and sharing kids’ stories. When he’s not at Escape, AJ enjoys running, biking, board games, and ice cream. He holds a Masters’ Degree in Public Administration from Central Michigan University.
